Actor Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, fresh from the massive success of "Animal," are set to collaborate on an ambitious new project titled "Spirit." 

This upcoming film is described as a high-octane, cop-based action thriller, and the scripting process is currently in its final stages. 

Vanga, known for his intense and genre-bending storytelling, has reportedly dedicated over six months to meticulously develop the screenplay, suggesting another unique cinematic experience for audiences.

According to sources close to the development, the casting for "Spirit" has been progressing alongside the writing. 

The film is slated to go into production around September or October 2025, with most of the key elements now falling into place. 

Vanga has reportedly requested Prabhas to undergo a physical transformation, aiming for a leaner physique to suit the character's demands and facilitate the performance of raw and realistic stunts by the actor himself. 

Prabhas is said to be enthusiastic about embracing this challenge.

Before commencing work on "Spirit," Prabhas is prioritizing the completion of his other two major film commitments, "The Raja Saab" and "Fauji." 

Once these projects are wrapped up, the actor is expected to fully immerse himself in Vanga's vision for "Spirit," including the necessary physical preparations. 

The team is also reportedly exploring the possibility of casting international actors from the US and Korea to add a global dimension to the ensemble cast, although official confirmations are still awaited.

"Spirit" is currently aiming for a grand theatrical release in 2027. 

Following the completion of "Spirit," director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is expected to shift his focus to "Animal Park," the highly anticipated sequel to his recent blockbuster "Animal," which will see the return of Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. 

The collaboration between Prabhas and Vanga on "Spirit" has already generated considerable excitement within the film industry and among fans, who are eager to witness this dynamic pairing bring a fresh and intense cop thriller to the screen.
