This interface is optimized for larger screen real estate, emphasizing split-screen multitasking and a desktop-class "start button" that feels familiar yet distinct from traditional Windows or ChromeOS layouts.

The software’s core functionality centers on its ability to run Google Play Store apps alongside Chrome extensions, suggesting that Google intends to merge its two most powerful digital ecosystems. 

In the leaked footage, coding references clearly label the system as a variant of Android 16, hinting that "Aluminum" may be the commercial branding for a high-end desktop mode. 

This integration would allow users to access millions of mobile apps with the productivity and stability of a dedicated laptop operating system.
