Currently, the title is available for $7.49, with PlayStation Plus members eligible for a further reduced price of $6.74. 

While the store listing suggests the sale lasts until early February, the developer has warned that the game will likely be delisted by the end of January 2026.

The decision to pull the game stems from the challenging economic landscape of the virtual reality industry. 

Fun Train explained that despite their commitment to the medium, the current state of the VR market has made it commercially impossible to renew the necessary intellectual property licenses for the Tarzan brand. 

This move reflects a broader trend of instability within the gaming world, which has seen a wave of studio closures and layoffs over the past year.

Players should be careful not to confuse this 2024 PS5 and PSVR2 release with a separate title of the same name. 

A different Tarzan VR game, released in 2021 by Jungle Games Inc. for the PS4 and original PSVR, remains listed on the PlayStation Store. 

As of now, there are no indications that the older PS4 version is facing delisting, meaning only the most recent high-fidelity version for the PS5 is being phased out.

For collectors and VR enthusiasts, this represents a "last call" to secure a permanent digital copy of the 2024 adventure. 

Once a game is delisted due to expired licensing, it typically cannot be purchased again, though existing owners can usually continue to download and play the title from their library.
