Dream Sports, the parent company of fantasy gaming giant Dream11, is officially entering the retail wealth management sector with its new stock broking platform, Dream Street. 

This strategic move comes after significant shifts in government policy and tax regulations disrupted the core fantasy sports industry. 

By diversifying into financial services, the company aims to rebuild its momentum and leverage its massive existing user base to establish a foothold in India’s competitive brokerage market.

The new venture has already secured the necessary regulatory licenses and is currently undergoing internal testing. 

A public launch is expected in the near future, targeting India’s rapidly expanding base of retail investors. 

Dream Street plans to differentiate itself by focusing on AI-led personalized investing tools, specifically designed to attract users in tier-2 and tier-3 markets who are increasingly looking for accessible ways to enter the equity markets.

Leadership for the new division will be drawn from Dream11’s internal talent pool. 

Rahul Mirchandani has been appointed as the CEO of Dream Street, supported by Karan Bansal as Chief Business Officer and Nikhil Lalvani as Chief Product Officer. 

This trio of experienced executives will be responsible for transitioning the brand’s identity from a gaming-centric platform to a comprehensive financial technology provider.

This pivot is part of a larger restructuring effort that began in late 2025, which saw Dream Sports split into several independent business units. 

The company had already dipped its toes into finance through Dream Money, offering products like gold investments, fixed deposits, and mutual funds.
