Tata Steel has reported its highest-ever annual crude steel production in India, reaching 23.48 million tonnes for the 2025-26 fiscal year. 

This milestone marks an 8% increase compared to the previous year, a growth primarily driven by the successful operational ramp-up at its Kalinganagar plant. 

The company’s momentum was particularly evident in the fourth quarter, where output jumped to 6.25 million tonnes, significantly outpacing the 5.44 million tonnes recorded during the same period in the prior year.

In tandem with rising production, Tata Steel’s domestic deliveries surpassed the 20 million tonne threshold for the first time in the company’s history. 

Total annual deliveries reached 22.53 million tonnes, reflecting a robust market position and a strengthening of long-term customer relationships. 

The fourth quarter alone saw a 10% year-on-year increase in deliveries, signaling a healthy appetite for steel across India’s industrial and infrastructure sectors.

Performance across specialized segments also hit record levels, with the automotive and special products vertical achieving peak annual delivery volumes of 3.4 million tonnes. 

Additionally, the branded products and retail segment contributed 7.3 million tonnes to the total, bolstered by the strong performance of the company’s established consumer brands. 

The industrial products and projects vertical further supported this growth, contributing 7.2 million tonnes through high-value segments.

On the international front, Tata Steel Thailand showcased steady performance with 1.33 million tonnes of saleable steel production and 1.32 million tonnes in deliveries. 

This represented an 11% year-on-year improvement in deliveries, largely fueled by a surge in domestic rebar sales within the Thai market. 

These global contributions reinforce Tata Steel’s status as a top-tier producer with a total annual crude steel capacity of 35 million tonnes across its diverse geographical footprint.

The record-breaking results of FY26 highlight the company's successful execution of capacity expansion and its ability to capitalize on rising demand within the Indian economy.

यह माइलस्टोन पिछले साल के मुकाबले 8% की बढ़ोतरी दिखाता है, यह ग्रोथ मुख्य रूप से इसके कलिंगनगर प्लांट में सफल ऑपरेशनल रैंप-अप की वजह से हुई है।

कंपनी की तेज़ी खास तौर पर चौथी तिमाही में साफ़ दिखी, जहां आउटपुट बढ़कर 6.25 मिलियन टन हो गया, जो पिछले साल इसी समय के दौरान रिकॉर्ड किए गए 5.44 मिलियन टन से काफी ज़्यादा था।

बढ़ते प्रोडक्शन के साथ, टाटा स्टील की घरेलू डिलीवरी कंपनी के इतिहास में पहली बार 20 मिलियन टन की लिमिट को पार कर गई।

कुल सालाना डिलीवरी 22.53 मिलियन टन तक पहुंच गई, जो एक मज़बूत मार्केट पोजीशन और लंबे समय के कस्टमर रिश्तों की मज़बूती को दिखाता है।

 अकेले चौथी तिमाही में डिलीवरी में साल-दर-साल 10% की बढ़ोतरी देखी गई, जो भारत के इंडस्ट्रियल और इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर सेक्टर में स्टील की अच्छी मांग का संकेत है।

स्पेशलाइज्ड सेगमेंट में परफॉर्मेंस भी रिकॉर्ड लेवल पर पहुंच गई, ऑटोमोटिव और स्पेशल प्रोडक्ट्स वर्टिकल ने 3.4 मिलियन टन की पीक सालाना डिलीवरी वॉल्यूम हासिल की।

इसके अलावा, ब्रांडेड प्रोडक्ट्स और रिटेल सेगमेंट ने कुल 7.3 मिलियन टन का योगदान दिया, जिसे कंपनी के जाने-माने कंज्यूमर ब्रांड्स के मजबूत परफॉर्मेंस से बल मिला।

इंडस्ट्रियल प्रोडक्ट्स और प्रोजेक्ट्स वर्टिकल ने इस ग्रोथ को और सपोर्ट किया, हाई-वैल्यू सेगमेंट के जरिए 7.2 मिलियन टन का योगदान दिया।

इंटरनेशनल लेवल पर, टाटा स्टील थाईलैंड ने 1.33 मिलियन टन सेलेबल स्टील प्रोडक्शन और 1.32 मिलियन टन डिलीवरी के साथ स्थिर परफॉर्मेंस दिखाया।

यह डिलीवरी में साल-दर-साल 11% का सुधार दिखाता है, जो मुख्य रूप से थाई मार्केट में घरेलू रीबार की बिक्री में उछाल से बढ़ा है।

 ये ग्लोबल योगदान टाटा स्टील को एक टॉप-टियर प्रोड्यूसर के तौर पर मज़बूत करते हैं, जिसकी अलग-अलग जगहों पर कुल सालाना क्रूड स्टील कैपेसिटी 35 मिलियन टन है।
