Homegrown Indian security firm CP Plus has announced a strategic partnership with US-based technology giant Qualcomm to introduce next-generation, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled video security solutions in India. 

This collaboration aims to revolutionize video surveillance, shifting it from passive recording to intelligent, real-time decision-support systems. 

The integrated solutions are specifically targeted at enhancing safety and security across various sectors, including industrial, public safety, enterprises, institutional settings, and public infrastructure.

The core technological strength of these new CP Plus video security solutions will come from integrating advanced Qualcomm components. 

Specifically, they will be equipped with the on-device AI and edge processing capabilities of Qualcomm's Dragonwing processors, along with the comprehensive Qualcomm Insight platform. 

This combination is critical for expediting the adoption of intelligent, real-time, and actionable video analytics. 

By processing data at the "edge" (on the device itself rather than a remote cloud), the solutions can deliver faster insights and improve consistency in critical operations.

CP Plus, owned by Aditya Infotech, will leverage its extensive nationwide network of ecosystem partners and distribution channels to market and sell these advanced solutions across India. 

The company anticipates the commercial availability of the AI-enabled video security products to begin in early 2026. 

The goal is to offer a scalable, actionable, and comprehensive one-stop solution, primarily enabled through edge boxes within the Video Management System (VMS) framework.

The leadership from both companies emphasized the strategic importance of this collaboration.

 CP Plus's MD, Aditya Khemka, highlighted that combining CP Plus’ industry leadership with Qualcomm Technologies’ cutting-edge on-device AI is key to building the next generation of video intelligence.

 Similarly, Nakul Duggal, EVP & Group General Manager at Qualcomm, stated that integrating the Qualcomm Insight Platform with CP Plus’ deep market presence in India will elevate video security from traditional monitoring to intelligent, insight-driven video management.

This partnership focuses on creating solutions that are "built for India and in India," enhancing real-time visibility and enabling faster, data-driven decision-making across critical operations nationwide. 

By integrating AI at the edge, the collaboration between CP Plus and Qualcomm seeks to significantly redefine the future of security technology in the country, preparing it for global deployment.
